That sucks man, glad you're alright! If you;d hit the deer at least you could have had a few meals out of it.

I know a lot of people, that actually swerve when squirells crossed the road, which i never understood lol.. But i can understand swerving when a larger animal like a deer crosses the road.. Oh and when an even larger animal like a moose cross the road at night, their eyes dont reflect off your lights like any other animal would. Glad you're ok though.

That sucks man. I know the feeling my wife has hit alot of deer and when she did swerve to miss one she rolled her explorer. I tell her just hit the damn thing now. That is why we have insurance. Still looks like it will be totalled as my truck had a bent thing that is broken on yours and it cost me 4400 to fix.

Yeah, the estimate was $7300, so it looks like it will be getting totalled. I just want it to be over, I hate having to spend so much time on the phone with the insurance and the body shop trying to get everything figured out.

Yea, hitting animals sucks. I hit a deer last month and it sucked... waiting for phone calls isn't fun at all. Although mine was still drivable.

Not necessarily.

My brother hit a deer dead center broadside in an '96 Exploder, and it rolled under. He wanted to keep the carcass, but the Sheriff said it was too chewed up from being rolled over for eating.

That or the Sheriff wanted it for himself

My brother needed a new hood, headlights, grill, and bumper. The new grill looks awesome, as he got the black one instead of the original gray/chrome one.

Got it pretty much settled, insurance is going to give me $6200 for it. I at least get to remove some of the mods I added, so they will probably end up in the classifieds section soon. Now I just need to find another truck.
