rangers loaded plenty of life left
rangers loaded plenty of life left
Rangers pull more than they can hold got in a little over my head when i told someone I would take some cinder blocks off their hands all or nothing deal two loads each truck this was the last trip did not want to make the drive another time for a partial load white ranger 97 with 4cyl dohc 130,xxx miles, black ranger edge 3.0 6cyl 140,xxx miles. aprox 25 to thirty mile trip
I have ran with tons of weight in the bed of my truck.... last summer I did 14loads of topsoil/mulch mix from the town... each load maxes out the rear suspension. so far this year I am up to 4 loads...
moved 1100 pounds of scrap metal in the 2wd once, had em both loaded to the top with fire wood before, had cinder block in the 4x4, once moved like 15 sheets of 3/4 plywood, they handle the weight well, i've never hit the bump stops yet
not highway speed but we got both over 50 easy 4cyl did fine could not hold as many though the mudflaps where only a half inch above ground and it has light duty shocks the 6cyl has heavy duty shocks and was about 2 inches from bump stops
