rollbar!

got it halfway put together(for the 2nd time i got the wrong bolts for the back supports), but here is roughly what it will look like, i still gotta sand it and repaint it, then get it mounted but here are the pics! oh yah i left the lightbar off for now since i dont have any lights for it at the moment.

i believe he's referring to the yota in the movie back to the future. . .which looks sorta similar to your ranger, sorta

The yota was all black with black roll bar and off road lights if I remember correctly. I liked that truck alot it looked good in the movie. Your truck looks great with the bar as well very nice.

Sorry for bringin' up the yota. It just reminded me of it. plus....my old '85 toyota looked just like the movie one, brought back memories. sorry. lol.

i cant believe your comparing me to a yota! ha ha j/k, it wont be that high once i put it in, its kinda sitting up because of the bedliner i had it sitting on, itll look better once its all bolted in and then ill take some good pics

If your gonna keep it on there don't put big lights...please...put some low ones that don't stick up high cause its all ready high....but i think you can work with it!!!

got an important question, should i paint it flat black, and paint the side steps and plactic peices on the front a rear bumper flat black, or should i paint it gloss black?

well it is a ROLLbar, so if i roll it atleast protects it some, it not gonna do any good if its the same height as the roof, im leavin it where its at for now, like i said, thats just sitting high cuz it was sitting above the bedliner, which has 2 humps about 3 inches above the bed

Dude not to be a ***, but if you roll the truck that thing will crumble. Yes its called a 'roll bar' but at heart all it is is a bar for looks. That will not protect you anymore if you flip the truck. Its all for looks

well i am plannin on welding it and bracing it more, in the end it will function as an actual roll bar

Those roll bars are all for looks. They might help some how but if you roll you're screwed and that bar won't do crap. Unless it's tied into the frame and that metal is very strong (enough to support the vehicle weight) which it isn't, it's just for mounting lights.
