Sad Day

Last Sunday I left from Sarasota to drive back to Tallahassee. I was down seeing my mom for her birthday. Two hours into the trip at mile marker 307 on I-75 I started hydroplaning to the left at 70mph. I corrected to the right, but then I was aimed at the 10ft ditch. So I turned back left thinking it was better to hit the guard rail. I hit it a little past head on and the truck rolled onto the passenger side. It slid for about 50ft the came to a stop.

First I turned the truck off. Then tried to unclip my seatbelt which I was hanging from. Once I got that off i dug through all the junk that had flew onto the passenger window to find my phone. When I looked up a man wearing army camo was running up. I told him I was ok and he helped me open the driver door and climb out.

I walked away without a scratch on me, my seatbelt saved me. I am so glad no one else was with me because my toolbox along with everything else I had in the truck landed in the passenger seat.

I already got a 99 tacoma, ext cab, prerunner SR5, TRD.
The ranger is most likely totalled.

Glad you're alright! Sucks about your truck though. Seems to have help up pretty good considering what had happened.

Wow. Sounds exciting.. Good that your ok.. I have always wondered if the tint on the windsheild holds the windsheild together. Looks like it kinda does cant really tell. Any taco pictures. Someone is going to ask.

Sorry to see that your truck is toast, but very glad to hear that you're OK. It could have been much worse.

Dang man that sucks.

Arent those tail lights really rare? You should take your lights on your roll bar and driver side wheels off before they take it away. You can probably use those lights on your taco and sell the wheels.
