Shaved Stuff & Painted Stuff

The tailgate needed to be painted and since it did, I decided to shave it too. I also repainted the hood and the grill surround. Since I am a vol. firefighter, I bought a red/clear LED dash light that I mounted just below the rear view mirror.

Anyway, on with the pictures:

Hood was semi gloss and didn't come out the way I wanted it.

What color do you want it? It's in good condition for the most part, the truck is just really dirty.

I bought the paint and all the other supplies and then it was like another $110.

Thanks for all the comments.

That tailgate turned out awesome. I love the hood as well.. Easily one of the sharpest trucks on here..

Now, get yourself a proper LED license plate light and do away with those ghetto rigged stockers.. lol

Whole job looks great!
I like the Hood, looking to do something along that line too.
Pin-Striping is different, my vote is still out on that but it look good on your setup.
The Tail Gate looks the best, I like the no emblem look, clean, straight forward, if it wasn’t so much work and money I would have it done to mine.

Great job, looks good...

Looks good. Did you flip the tailgate handle and put it on the inside or just ditch it completely?

Basically what you do is take everything out and do a 180* with it the rod on the left goes to the right and the right one to the left side and it all works out. So everything was just flipped.

I definitely kept the handle. While I want the truck to look good, i still need it to be as functional as possible.

Thanks for all the comments!
