A Sunny Day In Minnesota

Well the sun was shinning and the truck was shinny, so I went and took some pics.

Yeah the valance was taken off by the dunes back in May. I decided to wait until after the second dunes trip to get the replacement, and now Certifit doesn't have them in stock.

This is the cleanest the truck has been in a while. I washed and waxed it in may, and then when I got home from the dunes, and then again 3 days ago. 3 times all summer.

Who can spot the 2 things I have done since the dunes pics?

You put your front plate back on? Yea the truck looks too clean now, time to give it a mud bath.

Yes on the Tail lights.

No on the reverse lamps. Those have been there since last septemberish. Actually I bought them the day of the meet last sept and put them on the next day.

I baked them on Monday, taped and painted yesterday. I need to get some RTV to glue them back up and then they will go on.

CB antenna mount is still there. I just took the antenna off so that it fits in the garage.

The plate is on a 2" tube and it fits in the reciever. It kindof distracts from the ugly look of missing half of my valance.

I love how clean my truck is. Yesterday at work, I was in the lot and I was looking at this really really nice looking black Ranger. Then I realized that it was my truck. My paint is amazing.

The second thing that I knew no one would get....I put a coat of paint on the hitch, the frame horns, and the cross member between the wheels. Subtle, but cleans it up alot!

In the winter when its sitting in the parking lot at night with the lights on it looks almost sonic blue. When its really clean, and there is a light layer of dust on it, it gets a goldish glow at dusk.
