They look cool but the light output is going to suck! I had a set in mine and had to go back to incandescences.

Frankly, the light output from all "stock" reverse lights sucks... the only way to get decent backup lights is to run two flood lights off the back...

Had LEDs in back-ups, ran into a problem where they would not turn off. The lights were on ALL of the time. I called superbright and they had no way to fix this issue. Also blackedge is correct, light output does suck. So in ending, may you have better luck than I did.

I have LED reverse lights too and they're actually pretty bright. I got mine from V-LED's.

depends on what the bulbs are, i've got some turn signal bulbs in my bike (1157na) that are 10x brighter than the stock incandescents... they had 52 LED's each bulb, i run them in my brake light now too

that would be AWESOME! but i would put them on a switch, so they can also be used as blinders

that doesn't sound like a problem with the lights themselves... it sounds like a wiring problem...

L1224r's are red, they wouldn't work for his reverse lights

actually these are very bright. 30 LED's total in each bulb.

all around the sides and then theres a bunch on the top. the output is better then my incandescents were. i'll try and get some night shots.

The ones I had were brighter looking at them but they didn't cast the light out as far. I'll grab some pics tomorrow night and show you guys what I'm talking about.

The only problem I have with my LED reverse lights, is that most of the leds aim to the back, so they don't use the reflector in the housing to focus the light, so the beam penetration is less. But they look awesome!

thanks! yeah these ones fill up the housing quite nicely imo

and even if they did suck, theres no place here that i need to have backup lights for seeing. everything here is pretty much lit. lol

those are like 18 bucks each, i was gonna order some, but i've spent way to much this month on parts/tools :)

i picked up an impact wrench and some sockets tonight, and new bulbs for my front turn signals.
