Sweet 3rd Gen, never actually seen a "safari" type bar on a Ranger before, I must admit, yours looks good. You going to regear the rear to 4.88 or change them both to something else?

Feel free to post up more, but keep the snow, I hate it.

Sick roofrack. Sick lift kit too. Your ranger is probably one of my favorites on this site.

Sucks about the 2wd though - hope you get it all worked out.

Quick suggestion - maybe find/repaint the finders so they're black? I think it'd look real slick.

alright quick question since we r on topic of snow.
my father made me take my rims off because they r aluminum. they have my 33's on them. so im back to stock for winter.
this is because the salt will eat clearcoat on the aluminum rim correct? im jsut wondering if i put them on for a quick road trip to wheel and back if they will still get harmed.

I'm going to be mounting my set of aluminum rims here soon and it has already started snowing. As long as you keep those wheels very clean throughout the winter, aka wash them off once or twice a week the rims will be fine. Also I read that if you put a coat of turtle wax or vaseline on them it will help protect the clear coat as well. I coated mine with some turtle wax a couple days ago.

Looks great, I think that rack looks sweet on your truck!

No they will not get ruined just wash them when you get home. The alum. rims aint so bad it's the chrome rims that you must take off. Best idea is to always keep a coat of wax on your rims any time of year to protect them.

A lot of aluminum rims aren't clearcoated, what rim do you have?

This is what happens when you don't keep them clean during the winter:
