I bought mine with plans to lift the truck. I'm not a big fan of caps on Rangers that are stock, but on a lifted Ranger I think they look great. I got the idea from looking at l2en's truck.

I like caps and always wondered why I never got one for the winter time. I just dont like the particular style in which you've got on the truck...i like the side windows that flip open just like the rear windows.

 

these ones do flip open at the back

 

I'm not talking a vent like on minivans...i'm talkin' hinge at the top of the entire length of the side windows, with two locking handles/latches just like the back window.

I vote get it if you want it and if it fits your needs...it's already about the right color so it won't look retarded. lol.

You're partially right....BUT the same style of cap....curved, nice looking, looks like it belongs there, not no square ugly thing that was just tossed on there. lol. One like yours or Triggers, but with my windows.

A roof mounted cargo basket for carrying stuff. I think it just looks bad *** on a lifted truck with a cap. When I get a cap for my Ranger, that's what's going on it.
