So yeah, everyone remembers these older pics i took a couple years back. Truck hasnt changed much over the past year or so, got a new Edge valance, had the mirrors repainted last summer, i never posted pics.










And here it is now.....









Notice the shaved tailgate...






Believe it or not, i didn't like it at first. It was such a shock to see the truck a different color for the first time in the 4 years i've owned it. After i got it at home and saw it in the driveway, i was in love. Its sooooooo much better than the plain white. I think the color is perfect against the white as well. They had to totally repaint the tailgate to fix some dents and scratches. The paint matches almost perfectly, its PPG of course.

They are also spraying my door handles Friday or Monday. So those will be color matched as well. I am probably going to add a rocker panel stripe to make the side of the truck stand out also. Probably some smoked taillights in the future as well.

Anyway, i love it!

Thanks! It was really hard to find that color and I'm glad i did because its not too dark and not too light. Its also a Ford color so thats a bonus.

very nice man! took me a sec to figure out what was different about the rear bumper...no one allowed to use the bumper as a step for awhile i take it?

I actually painted the rear bumper step myself a few years back when i painted my mirrors (before they were professionally repainted). But it needs paint again, i'll just re-do it cause it gets messed up, no sense in having the body shop do it every few years.

Nope, its much lighter than DSG. This color is Mercury Gray, which is a trim color...I think its used for wheels?

 

must be the paint they use on the fx4 and edge wheels that mine originally had, grey is an awesome color anyway

I've never been a huge fan of the tailgate strip, but the hood looks great man. The grey is a great looking color. Flows well.
