redranger_02 07-27-2008 12:35 AM

i couldnt tell ya bryan. all i know is that you missed out on one hell of a time. spent about 8.5 hours on the trail. went from easy to about a 5-6 on a 10 scale. lots of off camber. i am sure matt will chime in tonight or tomorrow. you know me bryan, i have no clue where i am at. lol. we ended in surprise, and started in umm well i forgot already. lol.

outdoorsman 07-27-2008 12:38 AM

Well I'm glad you had a good time. I noticed your front bumper is off. Did the desert eat it like it did mine or did you sell it?

That looks like Box Canyon near Florence Junction. It's a fun trail that is tough but not too crazy. I hate my weird schedule or I definately would have been there!

redranger_02 07-27-2008 12:59 AM

yea that is it bryan. i just couldnt think of it. we hit up that and then split off on another trail and it was really difficult towads the end because of all the washouts and off camber stuff. you up for light wheelin or something next weekend. the girlfriend will be in town and i wanna take her to do something like wheelin or that lazy river.

outdoorsman 07-27-2008 12:59 AM

That is your "cheap" beef, lol. Those are some fast food burgers you're looking at.

99ranger4x4 07-27-2008 01:04 AM

im jealous

i may get a job down in AZ i just dont know if i want to deal with that kind of heat lol

outdoorsman 07-27-2008 01:05 AM

Yeah we can go up near Wickenburg and run up into the Bradshaws. There are some fun washes to run and a lot of history and mines plus some trails, all pretty light. Maybe a Tuesday after you get out of class? If not we can run up to Table Mesa West (other side than last time) and play around there maybe Saturday afternoon/evening. Then Jason can come if he wants. He is getting his front hitch installed Thursday. Heck we can do both Tuesday and Saturday wheeling!

Quasi242 07-27-2008 01:05 AM

I will post pictures tomorrow. However, as for where we were, we started in Florence and drove up the Box Canyon trail. We then followed that trail to the Telegraph Canyon trail (by way of Ajax Mine). We eventually ended up in Superior. It was a great day with a few crazy challenges. On second thought, I will add a couple of teaser photos tonight.

bumpers are over rated ha

late thought - that bed rack is awesome

have you had any issues with the RCD on your truck?

redranger_02 07-27-2008 01:06 AM

oh it'll be for a fab shop or offroad shop

so yea, an opportunity i wont pass up

redranger_02 07-27-2008 01:13 AM

i would say definately do it then. so many places to wheel. and so many customers you could possibly have

outdoorsman 07-27-2008 01:14 AM

If I have the time I'd go wheeling at least once a week! I work too much, plus college, and a gf I stay very busy. She will be in next weekend, so it would possibly be wheeling Tuesday August 5th and Saturday August 9th. I'm going to call Nocturnal and see what weekend they can fab for me. I want to get it done asap but they've been busy lately. Hopefully next weekend so my truck will be all ready for wheeling.

redranger_02 07-27-2008 01:17 AM

yea let me know if you still want me to give you a ride back. i need to talk with them yahoos about fabbin stuff for me anyway lol

yep

and i'm also thinking of leaving the rock crawling side of it behind and getting more into the desert racing and sand rail side of the off road industry.

i just love the supercharged LS2 rails doing wheelies at 60 miles an hour :sgrin:

redranger_02 07-27-2008 01:19 AM

yea man lots of rails and prerunner vehicles out here
