Spring Pictures

I haven't posted any new pictures in a while. I did some spring clean up on the truck and took some pictures. Buffed and polished it followed with Clearkote wax. It was a sunny day today so the kandy's really popped on the hood and tailgate, even caught some glimpse of the purple pearl tips.

Thanks, the detailing took 2 days between claybarring and buffing out. Arms get sore after all that lol. The black wheels are my winter tires.

Just saw your post Jimmeh, yeah I washed it and then clayed it to get all the salt and winter crap off. I then polished it with Meguiar's M80 Speed glaze, followed by Clearkote Red Machine Glaze, then Clearkote Moose Caranuba Wax. First time using the Clearkote products and they work great, deep, wet shine to them.

Those flames look absolutely amazing. Fantastic camera work too.

Your truck is just screaming for a nice set of wheels to finish it off.

It was in Aperture Mode on my D60. The lens I used was the kit Nikon 18-55VR and the Nikon 70-300VRII.

As for future mods, I'm not sure exactly whats planned for it. New wheels and tires would be nice but expensive though. I thought about the black headlight mod too, not sure on it. I know for sure I need to repaint the front bumper since there are chips and rust starting to form.
