sweet quad arctic cat DVX 250/400?? yup i had an 07 grizz 700 in my ext'd cab regular bed and it was tight... ranger's arent really built to haul a quad!!! haha

that last pic looks like the little transformer from the first movie. the one that is in barricade. you could have made a ramp. i bought some 8ft 2x8s and bought the end brackets and had a diy ramp for like $50. yea it sticks over my bed a little but it beats having to drive out to a relative's for the 12ft trailer.

Yea, that is a very cool looking picture. Hopefully it doesn't move and smash your window.

I had a Honda Foreman in the bed of my steppy, talk about a very tight fit. It had a huge brush bar and winch on the front so I couldn't get it all the way in. The rear tires were centered on the gap between the tail gate and bed.

Liftedgreen4x4 11-09-2009 07:57 PM

my quad is to wide to fit in my step side. I broke my tail bone riding it up the ramps, the front tires stopped moving right at the tire humps and the backs spun the ramp off the tail gate. That hurt like a beach so I use the chevy to haul the atv.

sullys_ranger 11-09-2009 08:15 PM

lucky! my 4000ex wont fit at all

FMD 11-09-2009 08:49 PM

maybe you should measure your atv's before buying a truck?

Roach2004 11-09-2009 08:52 PM

I put a full size 4-wheeler in my truck and had to just give it alittle more gas to wedge it in there. Fit fine.

Bigwill41 11-09-2009 08:53 PM

that last pic funny..

lifted_Mazda01 11-09-2009 08:56 PM

I had no problems with the 400ex until I put the wider A-arms on it... No I have dents in my fender wells of my standard bed... That is a tight fit in the stepside...

lifted_Mazda01 11-13-2009 09:46 AM

God that would suck! When I load mine I always ratchet strap the ramps to the frame of the truck so they can't kick out. I always think about just loading and unloading it without tying down the ramps but I wuss out and use the straps.

Ranger_Guy15 11-13-2009 08:40 PM

Styleside ftw!!!

no its not wussin out, its being safe, i cant tgell u how many times ive had my or friends 4wheelers go for a walk off the ramps, it hurts, its expensive if u hit ur truck, and its embarrassing, over the years ive gotten good with it, but if i am mud riding, i always strap them down, my tires will slip

SB05EDGE 11-16-2009 11:15 AM

i have no problems puttin a 08 yamaha grizzly 500 4x4 in mine.........just cant put the tailgate up

Turbo Roadster 01-12-2010 12:25 AM

I put my TRX450ER in my 01 all the time. I wouldn't have bought the Honda if it didn't fit.
Now I have a rack that sits above the wheel wells, with the truck lifted it needs 10' ramps to make the incline doable Putting the quad in the first time with the racks was interesting feels like the front wheels are going to run over the top of the bed rails but you get use to it.
Use a winch to pull it up after long tiring rides and I can store all my riding gear large ice chest and two 5 gallon gas cans in the bed.
here is a link to my cardomain page that shows the rack and quad. (page two) http://www.cardomain.com/ride/3232840

rangeroso 01-12-2010 09:38 AM

I fit my 07 Honda TRX 250 with no problems, but my banshee and 450r donīt fit in my bed. i use a trailer.
