Sunset Photo Outtakes.

Took lots of pictures for the Photo Contest.

This is my first day with my Nikon D60. I had lots of fun and had a hard time choosing which photo to put in the contest.

The second one was the runner up for the contest submission... i had to ask my family which one to submit.

These were taken just north of Lamoille, which is about 6 miles west of Marshalltown.

Oh, I guessed wrong. I was thinking N. of M-town, between Marshalltown and Grundy Center. Looks like a stretch of Hwy 14.

That would have been a better place to go actually, there were too many hills where I was driving around. They kept blocking the sunset, especially with the tall corn everywhere.

I did what you suggested and used the P setting and tinkered with a few things.

haha, its funny i was looking at the pics and i was like Holy shat that looks like iowa.. then i looked at where you are from, sure enough lol.. I am from SW iowa.. Red Oak.. Bout an hour away from Omaha.

Miss it like crazy.. corn, crazy a$$ colored skies, awsome storms.. Just great place.

I just got my Nikon D60 and it is easy to use. I would highly recommend getting one.

Sooner or later I'll pic one up. I barely use my Sony point and shoot now so that's why I haven't spent money on a good camera yet.
