4500 sounds about right for that truck. I wouldn't say you stole it but you got a good, fair price.

120k miles isn't bad. I have about 140k on my 351 and it is still running strong. Hows the E4OD shift? Still pretty strong? Mines kinda been giving me trouble lately...not wanting to shift into reverse or drive from park when its real cold and wet out. Worries me a bit.

Hows it drive with the 35's and 3.55's for gearing? I have 33's and 3.55's and its kinda a dog. I can't imagine 35s!

Either way the truck looks good. Get alot more pics.

Those F150's only came with 2:55's for gearing. I can only imagine how sluggish that would be with 35's. I had a friend who had a 95 F250 with 35's and 3.55's. and it done right sucked on the highway. And that had a 5.8 (351ci) If you run 35's, you need at least 4:56s or higher.

$4500 for a 95 with 120 k, that is way too much money! Is it a 4wd truck? I didn't see it mentioned in the sig, but from pics it looks like I am seeing a locking hub up front? Problem with those engines back them after 130k it's usually down hill with Fords engines, they werent really rated for more then 140 before they became tired around 130k. 5.0 is a good motor, but not for a 1/2 ton truck. 4.0 Ranger would accelerate better then that F150 with a 5.0. You should of looked into some GM 1/2 tons. They have bigger engines, more hp, better tq, and came with 3:73's, also locking diff. You're gonna have ball joint issues with those 35's, if not having BJ issues already.

I found a few 96-97 F250's for sale for that price with snow plows, and little over 100k on them. Positive thing about those gen trucks are the strength of them. They were built good, just lacked hp and tq. The 5.0 came with only 199 hp, i think the GM 1/2 ton trucks back then came stock with over 260hp or something like that.

Well you better be careful driving that thing in the snow with them 35's. Years ago my friends brother had a 96 F250 with 7.3 with same exact MT 35"s, and he was all over the road when there was snow on it. I thought he was pulling my leg when he said that his truck absolutely sucked in the snow, until I took it out around his neighborhood before the plow trucks plowed the road. Had it in 4wd and you would think I was driving a Rwd muscle car. Those tires were causing the truck to slide all over the place at times. His fix was to throw the stock wheels back on during the winter. Looked kinda silly though with a 6" lift and stock wheels.

But on a good note, he had alot of fun in the mud with those 35" MT's. You won't really have to second guess those wet feilds now kid, you'll have alot of fun ripping through them feilds.
