Tested out the explorer axle with limited slip and new gears
Well i finally got Explorer axle in my truck and my front diff done. I up graded to 3.73 gears and limited slip in the rear and an open 3.73 gears in the front. Jason was suppose to come up but he got called into work. Did he ever miss out. Well around 5 Nikki and i headed up Fire Tower road to the game lands to go down some trails up there. I tired a couple spots i was afraid to hit last time we were up there.
Me concentrating really hard

going down the trail

I found this and measured it with a stick and it was a foot of water and who knows how much mud so i didn't hit it since i was alone

We found some ice i was surprised since it hasn't been cold out for weeks

More Ice

Like my corner lights? lol

little flex

The rock that fixed my front bumper and broke it at the same time.

Could of gone farther

What else can i flex on look. lol

Stuffed my other front tire was on a mount too didn't know till i got out.

Well i was getting ready to head down to go meet my gram for dinner when this Toyota came up the trail and we stopped and talked and found out that they were from penn college and they knew of tylers truck and have head of this forum. so we went out a trail i was afraid to go on because i didn't want to get stuck. well the limited slip worked great and i never got stuck once. I don't have the stocks or rear sway bar on my truck right now and i flexed the truck so hard that my tires rubbed on the side that was hit and is on rolled under so that's about 3-4 inches of extra room and i still made it rub but i didn't get a pic i will get some tomorrow.
heres more pics

Going back out

The Damage.

I bent the bumper up closer to the fender i think it looks better i think i will use that rock again tomorrow to do the other side.

Checking to make sure i didnt take out a break line or my exhaust

And of course the beautiful g.f

Thats all till tomorrow

I didnt take any install pics and i didnt even get the mounts on yet thats later tonight after Nikki goes to bed. im taking the valance all the way off and putting my tcase skid back on
x2, my 3.0 sees 5500 rpm atleast once per tank of fuel i put in it
it probably happens more often than i think but i try and still keep some gas mileage. i know it happened at least 3 times today
lol i love sliding it sideways with the limited slip. lol its so addicting and hard on tires.
