Our local public transit now has those different looking exhaust stacks off of the top of the bus, they are subtly different compared to the original turnout they had....this truck on the other hand needs some explaining.

still don't understand. is a "code" the same thing as a law? like parked in a handicap spot and you're not handicapped?

They aren't being an *** hole. You're not following the rules and regulations if you're not keeping up with your home maintenance. It helps keep the neighborhoods clean and orderly.

It only applies to people that live in city limits, not out in the boonies. There are different codes for that.

i can understand that......i just don't want some jerk writing me a ticket for my grass being 3 inches tall when "regulations" state that it must be 2 inches tall...

i have a friend who lives in St. louis and he got a ticket because his truck (stock dodge 2500) was "too big" for his driveway....he fought and won of course but its just a damn hassle

actually they put a note on your door saying cut your grass if its too high....then after like 3 notes...they cut it and give you the bill.
it always ends up being in the thousands from what i hear...
