Oh, man. You guys need to move to my city. Code enforcement almost out numbers cops!

Codes things like;

If you shed is not the same color as your house, and the windows are not facing away from the street.

If your hedge is taller then 8'.

If you have commercial vehicles parked overnight. (Be it work trucks, RV's, etc.)

If you have a sign outside your buisness on the street.

My city is mad stringent, but I have no problems with it, because it keeps the city from looking like ****.

i have never heard of that. we just have the homeowners association for that kinda stuff.

I bet it has something to do with emissions, some stupid @ss environmental thing...that could be the only explanation for it.

i think its for high water...like if another hirricane came....it could sit in 2 feet of water to where only the cab gets damage..idiots.
i would hate to park next to it and bump into it! ouch

Yikes! I thought it was bad that the city of CF will charge $80 to mow your lawn. $1000+?!? That's ridiculous.

Not that they've ever mowed my lawn - I haven't even been warned once yet... for lawn mowing.

I would love something like that around here. People drive me nuts when they don't maintain their homes, it drives MY property value down.

the thousands applies to lots..my friend cuts empty lots and they get alot of bussiness cause they charge a fraction what the government charges...

im soo glad i live outside the city. theres no way id ever let someone tell me when to mow my yard when i purchased the property as well as pay the taxes on it. i can see why they have it though, i just wouldnt stand for it
