Really? I always thought the primary power plant was the 4.0.

I'm with you, though. I mean, there are none around here, but I never found them to be that much more exciting then a regular Ranger. Only reason I would love to have one is because it's newer then my Ranger.

So did they also come with manual transmissions? Because all the ones I have seen (online of course) have all been auto's.

There is nothing else special about them other then the fancy badging and stuff, right?

There's a guy up here I go to college with and he's got a thunderbolt ranger. I told him he wants to get rid of it to let me know. He said that to keep it in good running shape, it costs a lot to change all the fluids and what not. I still wouldn't mind having it. :smile

Why would a thunderbolt cost more to change the fluids in then a normal Ranger?

I think that guy is just retarded.

Sk0ts Brother Eric has that white one ( or had? Haven't talked to Eric in 2 years, dunno if he still has it. ).

They aren't quick at all IMO.. Or at least Eric and Andys ( Andy was from Toledo ) werent.

I believe they are just a normal Ranger with a Cold air intake, a bodykit and a coil suspension thats been lowered an inch or so.

Marie.. The one your brother went at it with was probably modified if it was doing 120.

Well yeh... obviously... from what I've learned about thunderbolts in the last day it seems to me the one my bro saw was eiher an imitation or heavily modified... a ranger going a buck 20 is pretty sick though...
