TracRac

We're having a Trade Show at work tomorrow--I work for a building supply company. I installed my TracRac T-Rac G2 tonight to put it in the vendor's booth, so I snapped a few pics before it got too dark. Crappy pictures--Nice rack![IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG]

Got a hell of a deal on it thru work--Free is my favorite price! I took a survey from TracRac for its dealers and the prize was 2 FREE T-Rac G2's in a random drawing. I was pretty shocked when I got that phone call-I'd forgotten that I'd even taken the survey. We're going to raffle one off tomorrow, and I got the second one-only stipulation was that I had to have it on my truck for the booth.

They list for $560, I sell them for $429. T-Rac is their "Basic" rack system--G2 is there second generation version that just came out a couple of months ago. I sell more of the actual Trac Rac's-the sliding version. I sell those for $700 all day long. If i was going to buy one, I'd definitely go with the Trac Rac, but this was a freebie, so I'll tke it.

looks awsome! you need to puta canoe on it for the show to highlight the "off road" themed look of your truck.

Steve-
T-Rac won't work on a steppie--you'd need to step up to the TracRac. T-Rac clamps under the bed rails, TracRac mounts into the stake pockets(on a fleetside) with rubber expansion blocks. I don't remember, but I don't think Steppies have stake pockets, do they? I sold a TracRac to a guy with a Splash a couple of years ago and it worked fine, but I don't remember how the base rails were installed.
