Finally Came to terms with the ranger starting to cost me allot of money again and decided it was time to move on to something new. Test drove allot of different vehicles and fell in love with the new wrangler unlimiteds. I don't know how I managed to get the money I did on trade so the dealership couldn't have made much off me. Got a hell of a deal so I jumped on it. Gonna miss the ranger but the new jeep is a million times nicer to drive. picked it up Friday night with 24km on the odo. Great feeling having something new. Already put 500km on it lol it's a blast to drive.

Hers a few last pics of the ranger.

And my new jeep, 2012 unlimited rubicon, 6 spd manual and new pentistar 3.6 ltr.

got some video to I just gotta wait for some buddies to send it to me. I plan to still visit RF. of all the other forums I've used this one seems to have the best community. Thanks to everyone who was able to help ,e with ranger information and I hope to be able to help give information to others in the future!

Thank you. I do like the red but I was actually looking for a black rubicon but finding one with the 6spd was next to impossible. But for the deal I got on the red one I couldn't complain

cant lie...your ranger is so much more awesome. And I love jeeps. But I'm sure you'll do some stuff to your rubi to make it just as impressive.

I have plans for the rubi. I want to pay it down a bunch first before I start to really play with it. Plans for the jeep are teraflex long arm kit, flat fenders and some 37 or maybe 39's. Gonna do c gussets and prob do the tube inserts. But again thats all down the road when I pay most of wats owing off.

Gonna look something like this

I am impressed that the dealership gave you a lot for your ranger. Given the level of modification on it, I would think that might scare most dealerships away from a trade in.
Either way good job and cool jeep! I am sure it will be nice driving a vehicle with such huge aftermarket support.

^ I was thinking the same, judging by what I was offered for mine. Not that it was as heavily modified as yours! Going to miss seeing the truck pics on the trail but the Jeep looks good!

$37,xxx for a Jeep is just f*cking stupid.

I bet that $600 plus a month vehicle payment sucks.

It looks nice though :)

let us have a moment of silence for the loss of a great truck, and the purchase of a chrysler product... (sorry, hate jeeps) Yours does look nice though.

Sad to see the Ranger go...it is a nice one. But those 4 door Jeeps are even more badass when built up. Can't wait to see the progress on it.

That guy who owns that red 4-door on 39's is on one of my local 4-wheeling forums. Very impressive Jeep.

Not at all. If I wanted that I would have bought it. But like said above that $600+ a month payment is not for me.

Nice Jeep!

After trade in and dealer incentives ii got the price down to $24,000 plus tax. I am fortunate that I am able to pay about $1200 a month and not have to stress to much but the plan is to be paid in 2 years or sooner.

Trany was on its way out, rear end was effed, and I hated the shift on the fly 4wd so after I did a bigger axle and lockers and new trans and a manual transfer case and maybe did a new motor, prob would have done a 5ltr, I was several thousand more into a truck I was tired of working on. I did however love the truck it was just time to move on.

That jeep is gonna wind up being my motivation to pay mine off so I can do that to mine lol.

Thanks. Destination chrysler in north van. It's allot harder than you'd expect to find a manual trans unlimited rubicon out here. Every time I found one it sold in less than a week so wen the deal for this came up I jumped on it.

U had one of the sharpest rangers on this fourm, I don't know how many times I looked at your build when I was building mine. Glad u are happy with the new jeep and if u build it anything like your ranger it will be sweet. Just keep us updated on any progress.

Well finally getting around to.doing something on the jeep. My fried bought me a new bumper because he said the factory one looks retarded (and hes rite) and today i picked up a 3" zone lift for cost. The zone kit is apperently very good for the money compared to a rc lift or something. Its a temporary lift however. Only reason im lifting already is because i think the bumper will look stupid with no lift and im going to oregon in september to play on the dunes and some lift and tires will be nice to have there! Future plans are to put a 4" currie kit with the anti rock bar and all new flex arms, flat fenders and 37's. Gonna do the tube inserts and c gussets also but thats all in due time. Hopefully i will.have the lift and bumper on by this evening!

Smitty built xrc bumper

Put the bumper on the land cruiser so i could see it up off the ground lol

And the lift kit

Hioefully i will post the finiahed product later today

Awh man. Nice Yeep, yet I'd rather break a Ranger.

That nice shiny new Wrangler would be hard to put down the trails.
