Well it was a nice day out so I decided to go cruisin and snap some pics.
(crappy cell pics sorry)

So far I've nite shaded my tails, removed mud flaps, running board, and the T-bars are cranked 4 turns
Also put clear corners in and did the blinker mod and fog light mod.



I also installed an OHC


And installed LED door locks (thanks to weezl)

And I wired in a LED dome light and painted the plastic trim

good stuff. do the doorlock LEDs stay on when the truck is off?

 

yea they stay on all the time

truck looks good. Only problem I would find is if you forget to lock your door then its an advertisement that the truck is unlocked...I guess only if they knew that blue meant open

I have an Autopage security system thats very sensitive. And yea, they'd have to know that blue meant open.

But isn't have the door pin up also letting people know its locked or unlocked? I just like the LED and think its looks sweet.

Next mod I have planned is getting a new head unit (prolly double din) and I already have an amp, thanks to Tys_4x4_FTW, to power my door speakers

Yesterday I forgot to snap a pic of my niteshaded tails so here they are.

I kinda wish I went a bit darker, but I guess I could just use paint thinner and redo it.

 

Well here's another update. I got my exhaust redone, I was tired of flinging road grime on my tips w/o my mudflaps. It actually made the truck sound a little better IMO. I also put my Sport Trac emblem on.

 

I like the 4x4 emblem. Thought about getting rid of the factory 4x4 decal, and going with that... where did you pick yours up at? ebay?

 

I went to the dealership and got it for $9

 

don't know why i didn't post this before, but you could always wire red as unlocked, or no light as locked, simple to do...

you thinking about a set there beard? i'll trade you a set, inc shipping, for your sliders...

There a gap between OHC and headliner near the windshield?

 

Yea, I mounted the bracket a bit too far forward, I should move it back a bit, but my antenna for my Autopage alarm is right on the windshield in front of the OHC

 

what did you use for the led dome light?
