Took the truck Out..
well, i dont have any during pics, forgot the cam, sorry.. will take some more tomorrow when i go out again..
But here are some after pics.. let me know what you think.. its not that bad, those dam flexy--flares do their job!
Okay, so again, doesnt look that bad, right? well, at one point i was pretty close to drowning the ranger.. My wife was like OOOHH go through that puddle! im like ok, ive gone through everything else so far without any problems, hit it going like 2-5mph, not even a foot into the water, BAM the trucks front end drops like 2-3 feet.. I Slam on the brakes, check my pants and was like WTF! lol.. the bumper was almost completley submurged minus about an inch.. I made the decision to back out( there was a 2-3 foot almost 90' angle of slate to back over),
so started in 2wd, just spun the tires.. ok, put it in 4high, got a little bit, but again, couldnt cut it.. I was starting to worry at this point because the wife had gotten out to measure the rest of the water to see if it got shallower, and well, it got even deeper.. So i was screwed if i couldnt get out..
Put it in 4LO and it climbed out like a champ! i could hear the BFG's Gripping the limestone!
Well, let me know what you think.. sorry for the long story lol..
