^^ So in order to go faster at the track you gotta lift it... ahhh it makes perfect sense now, ive had it backwards this whole time!

4x4+lift+ drag strip = geo metro 3cyl out run you

Dodge Journey. This has got to be this biggest POS I have ever driven for a new car. I had a brand new one as a rental in Boise last week for five days. Ugly as *** inside and out, loooong dash, long and wide a-pillars that created huge blind spots, desperately underpowered (I couldn't pass city buses even when I was the only person in the car), the transmission shifted worse than an old taurus with 150k miles on it. It was a six speed auto, but it took forever to kick down gears, it slipped between every shift and made sloooow shifts. It was like it never knew what gear it should be in. It only had 2200 miles on it.
The interior has a long sloping dash and center console and the cupholders are down on the floor where you have to lean forward and down to get them. The lights and wipers had the oddest controls I have seen too.
I cannot for the life of me figure out who the target audience is. I did not find a single thing that I liked about it.

him and his dad own a mechanic shop so they have a flatbed. basically it came in for motor work and it turned out being blown. he bought it for $1200 and they had the small block laying in their shop so it worked out good sort of haha.

We've got under 12second 1tons running the 1/4. Not to mention we've got like 50 class8's rippin' through the gears on the strip as well. lol. Don't matter what you got, if it's got a bed, you're welcome to run. lol.

Maybe one of these days I'll finally ***** pics from our big yearly truck drags.

Ya, you`d think so, but you have it pretty much backwards. Those big diesels make more power then you can ever dream of lol. When the black smoke starts pouring out, you might as well wave bye bye. Their boost gauges go to 40 psi for a reason lol.

my buddys 09 F350 Harley Davidson has a tune and other work done on it as well as a lift and 20`Jesse James wheels wearing 35`s and that thing moves out VERY well. Walked a 87-93 5.0 mustang the other day and it will do 200kph and get there pretty quickly too.
Not bad for a 9000lb truck!

I have another buddy with a 08 F450 Dually King Ranch that has work done to it that runs in the 12`s

and how does a rig like that beat a 2011 5.0 mustang which does 12.9 - 13.1 in the quarter?

whats actually funny is that 09 harley davidson gets TWICE the milage than his 02 Jeep on 35`s gets. Literally 2x if not even a little bit better gas milage than the Jeep. Acttually now that he has like 30 or 40k miles on the Harley Davidson, the fuel milage is getting BETTER!

Why don`t the north american manufacturers put more diesels in their vehicles. 4 cyl turbo diesels would be sweet! look at VW.

sometimes you can have your cake and eat it too lol.

2011 5.0 Mustang`s ROCK very very cool. Its about time ford brought the ol five point oh back!

you might want to re-consider that statement. go on youtube and you can spend all day watching lifted diesels beat on anything from ricers to corvettes.

YouTube - F350 drag
