Claiming to have 2.67 valves per cylinder doesn't qualify as a fail?

I think this would consider a fail. Chick was going to fast, locked the brakes up and slid into the ditch.

Maybe one of these days I'll finally ***** pics from our big yearly truck drags.

my buddys 09 F350 Harley Davidson has a tune and other work done on it as well as a lift and 20`Jesse James wheels wearing 35`s and that thing moves out VERY well. Walked a 87-93 5.0 mustang the other day and it will do 200kph and get there pretty quickly too.
Not bad for a 9000lb truck!

I have another buddy with a 08 F450 Dually King Ranch that has work done to it that runs in the 12`s

Why don`t the north american manufacturers put more diesels in their vehicles. 4 cyl turbo diesels would be sweet! look at VW.

sometimes you can have your cake and eat it too lol.

2011 5.0 Mustang`s ROCK very very cool. Its about time ford brought the ol five point oh back!

I'm not sure about that mpg claim. make sure he is doing the math properly. just sayin.

also mid 12s most of the Fords are running, maybe a few low 12s. Guys are just getting into the 11s and there are a few running 10s. But the average guys are in the high 12s.

13s are really easy to get into, my first run was a 13 sec run.

remember, a 13 second mustang costs 35k? maybe 40k, dump 10k in it and you have a fast car. stock form diesel 50k off the lot plus several thousand more to get consistently/safely in the 12s. if some guy claims its stockish or jsut a tune and he is in the 12s he is pushing his luck big time. Cracked piston in his future at least.

Several of the top diesel 6.4 guys are on Powerstrokenation.com go over there and read, its not a simple bam I'm in the 12s~!

oh and bet they are running on more than just fuel!

diesel technology is awesome, dont get me wrong but its unreal expensive to make a 8k lb truck run down the track at that rate.

my buddy at work has the 7.3

custom intake
4" turbo back straight piped
dp tuner
bb turbo
upgraded injectors
upgraded fuel system
head studs
torque converter
valve body
full bts transmission

and he still gets 20mpg believe it or not!

its got about 10" of total lift(fabtech) with custom fox shocks air bags etc blah blah blah lol. running 37/14.50/22 toyo mt's with the jesse james wheels(which had to be custom built) and he had wildwood build a custom brake system.

grand total of $15k just in these mods plus the $10k in suspension/tires. another $5k for brakes and the $49k he paid for the truck

he ran it last weekend at 12.1 seconds on the 1/4

and to get back on the fail track lol. one of his other trucks

so now he's on to the double tcase and a roll cage haha

washy time! lmfao

i dont belive a 8100lb truck with that build on it is running 12's. my best friend has a pretty close build to that and there is no way in hell he is running 12's with 37's even if he is re geared. let me rephrase that. if he is running built B code injectors and a gt47 maybe, but not alot of people would run that unless there running forged rods and pistons. the 4" exhaust tells me he is probly running a gt38r my be gt40... sorry hard to buy that he is running a 12, 20mpg i can belive....also i think that tire size for the lift is ill proportioned(spel?) and the wheels are really gross...

btw, the door badges and his front end ie lights and the bumper (grill to if it was factory) tells me that is probly a 6.0psd.... yes you can swap all the parts over easily but it caught my eye
