well needed updates...

I haven't posted anything in what seems to be over a year, so on to the updates!

First thing's first...

I got new tires

Me and one of my buddies were just goofing around in some mud one day when these jackasses in a Chevy Tahoe were stuck in like a good 18'' of mud. They asked us to pull them out, and we told them there was no way we could get even close enough to try as we both have 4x2. From that moment on they just sat there hanging out their windows yelling about how we suck at driving, and to get real trucks, etc.

On the way out we told them we do know how to drive, that we know our trucks limits and thats why we're not the ones stuck off roading on private property.

This is my buddy, Rand, thumbs-upping the morons.

I got a 'honda-hook' (it actually did save me from a very low speed rear ending. Tore a hole in the bumper of the toyota that hit me.

Then i got a bed-mat from craigslist ($10) and a Firestik CB Antenna.

I posted a while back about getting a hurst shifter, but i never posted pics after the install. I know it's dusty and i need to clean it, but here's the pictures:

As you can see i painted the chrome plate that goes on the boot black to better match my interior:

And unfortunately, on Thanksgiving i was giving my Step-sister and her fiance a ride (they are without a car due to unfortunate circumstances) when i got in a wreck with a big *** GMC van. We decided not to involve insurance.

It cracked my corner

damaged the filler piece underneath it

and scuffed up my bumper and valance

I've already ordered clear corners to match my headlights. I'm going to bondo the white filler piece and paint it black. (i think the black with help tie in the whole black front end of my truck.) After that i plan on re-painting the valance black again.

Hopefully after that it'll look much better again.

I suppose i do mean Honda impaler.

The hook i got was $10 at Harbor Freight, lol.

funniest part about the mud was when me and my friend pulled out of there about 2 blocks down the road we saw a tow truck and a cop car pull into there.
I hope they enjoyed their ticket!

Before i forget to mention it, I also had my rear main seal go out. What a ***** that was to fix.

i don't think you should paint the filler under the headlight. leave it white or it's just gonna look outta place.

I don't think it will look out of place. I'm going to paint it flat black just like the entire rest of the front of the truck.

If that's a honda-hook, than this is a honda-gutter.
