Went to the drive in theater

Heres my set up.

Had a big piece of egg crate foam with a soft blanket on top of it, and another blanket for me and my lady to cover with.

Since they broadcast the sound over FM radio (or the bad quality speakers you hang on the door) i brought a portable radio and plugged it into my inverter into my 12v power source i added to the bed.

Heres my girl just because everyone loves a woman and a ranger

and heres our view of the screen

One downside to the cap is you don't get a good view like that in the bed.

So...there is one of these not far from my house. Can I view the screen easily from my GT? Also, I am kind of worried about my battery and the radio. Do you have to leave your car on?

Idk about the view from your GT... i'd assume its good, as i could see just fine from the front seat of a friends Escape.

Basically at this drive in theater you see two movies with a 10 minute intermission between... so if you run your engine between the movies i'd imagine your battery would be fine. Also at this theater they have golf carts drive around and give jump starts to anyone whose battery did die when the movies end.

I assume you're joking, but if you're not its a movie you watch from your car.

Hmm...interesting. Might have to think about taking the GF to this. I guess I am worried that a big truck or something will be infront of me. Any other pointers?

I know that the drive in here, cars (not vans and such, cars, like mustangs, camrys, etc.) are only allowed at the front, and trucks, vans, suvs, etc. have to be in the back.

If you have a good battery, it should last you to the intermission. Mine always has.

Ah, the drive in. I can think of a few good memories from the one here. Also a bad one.......lol.

So...get there early and hope they allow smaller cars in front? I have the FoMoCo battery and it hasn't failed me yet, but that is a long time for the battery to power the Mach system. Just be worried the battery would die a horrible and gruesome death. I am guessing they allow refreshments and food usually?

Haha...I figure we might make it through the first one. Second one will most likely not be watched.

If only I didn't have a stupid center console.
