No No....the ranger still will have it's place in the garage, besides the ranger is paid off anyway. We're actually going to trade in the 05 Escape that we have. It's 4wd too...and is a WONDERFUL car but it just doesn't have enough room. Between the two kids and our yellow lab....if we go somewhere and have luggage it's tight in the escape...REALLY tight. So we needed something that would be able to handle our trips. The 4.6 in this thing will sh#t and get. 4wd LOW is ridiculous. Wish is was a different color....our escape KBB at around 7350.00$ and they offered us 10k...which about blew me away.
Anyway don't fret guys the ranger is still in the stable. And I'm not going anywhere...thanks for the comments

I get that, But the axle shaft runs through the frame, so lifting it would cause the axle shaft to hit the frame. A body lift I can see. As far as I am aware their is no lift kit for a 2002+ explorer. Last I heard the best you could do was put a set of coil overs that would lift the rear about an inch, but that is putting the suspension at full travel down and forcing it to stay there (like old school air shocks.) That too me would be a lift as much as a T-bar crank would be a lift.

Probably won't make it too much closer since you have to remember that it goes through the frame right after it comes out of the diff, so making the end of the suspension move 1.5" for the lift isn't going to move that CV shaft too much. It isn't like the middle of the shaft is what goes through the frame.

That sounds like the Coilover "lift" Lift I was talking about. To me a lift actually moves the axle position, not just stiffens the suspension, like Air shocks and t-bar cranks.
