It is closer to the middle of the shaft than you think it is. The fram isn't that narrow at the rear.

This is with a 2.5 lift in the front, and a 1.25 in the rear. Pretty sweet setup

Nice man you will love it! I have an 03 Explorer NBX with the 4.6 and it is such a good family car, and it gets up and moves!

As far as I know right now there is no "LIFT" kit, as in drop bracket's or anything like that. So spring spacer's are the only kit that i Have found so far. Other than something custom which is $!

nice. like the black one you posted. from that angle it looks like the explorer hasnt changed much other than front/rear end and some body molding. main body looks the same

I have seen some newer explorers online with 2" spacers, they don't look bad.
There is one lift that actually makes a lift for the late expeditions, Rize. It is just 8" drop brackets as you would expect and you can run coil-overs or whatever.

Well both me and the wife, know we have that one in the bag....but we still wanna look around. We found a black one that was about an hour away, around the same price, and it had leather. Which I'd rather get due to the munchkins and their spills. It cleans up better.
