Wheelin in Flagstaff 56K no

Bryan (outdoorsman) and myself decided to take a day trip to Flagstaff, AZ to do a lil snow wheelin. Well after driving around for about an hour finding out that all of the nice forest service roads were either closed or blocked by 4-5 foot high snow berms we decided to go to an OHV area and fool around. Well me, knowing that Bryan had just gotten an 8,000lb winch I decided to be kind and get stuck so he could use it. Although I didnt really plan to get stuck within the first 15min. Enjoy!

A frozen lake although only about 5-8 inches thick

You drive to my house, I'll bring you snow wheeling, and I will give you the privilege of using both of your new winches!

Don't worry about the fact that its like 2,000 miles away. Gas won't be too much and I'm sure your work won't mind right...

Yeah Sea Bass I got it all in. I had somebody wire up the solenoid set-up for the rear. Thanks again for your help.

I'll be getting pics and videos up in the next day or two (my gf took all the pics and video clips). I wanted more time wheeling but we were limited. Total of 4 stucks (2 each), 3 required winching after trying to pull out with the other truck. My winch got a good workout! I'm glad I can mount it on the front or back as as one time I had to move it to the front to be winched forward.

Charlie scored on a nice Coleman lunch cooler and I scored a nice saucer sled. We found these in the woods and they've been there a while as we were the ones blazing the trail through the snow. Both were found a few miles apart from one another.

Here is the area we were wheeling except there was snow.

All you can eat KFC buffet. We all chowed down good. Only pic we have is of Charlie. There are only 4 KFC buffets in Arizona and I know all 4! Kingman, Yuma, Show Low, and Flagstaff! For $8 you get the whole buffet including soda, apple pie, all kinds of chicken, fries, potatoes, biscut, beans, etc.

Looks like fun out there. I love KFC's Slaw. It's the best, the orig. chicken isn't bad, the spuds are good too, but the slaw is the best.

No I did not drive from indiana to arizona just to play in the snow. If i wanted to drive from indiana i woulda just went somewhere in northern indiana. actually I go to MMI in Phoenix and since I am going to school I am not a permenant resident therefore I do not have to get an AZ plate

For being the first time actual trail wheeling, not mall crawling and parking lot drifting in the snow I had a blast

Good deal. I grew up in IN and lived there until I joined the Army. It seems Indiana never has snow for Christmas anymore, so no snow wheeling for me when I come up to visit.

Long story short: I'm jealous.
