I like it. Clean. Maybe a couple subtle mods to really set it off?

I will do a few updates to it, but not much, right now Im looking at a set of newer tail light lenses. Its a great DD and helps keep the miles off the Ranger. It does what I need it for.

Very nice, the E39 is a great body style. The E39 M5's are one of my favorite cars, just way too unreliable to own. 540's with some mods are much smarter choices and can be just as nice. Start modding it!

Funny because the hicks on here will say what a POS the car is and etc, yet if you got some $800 1972 hillbilly farm truck they would all have boners.

LOL, that is true...

We got this 540 and a M5 in at the same time and I really wanted the M5 just because it had the 4.9... but when I drove it around the lots it was too stiff for my liking, and had too many miles on it. This 540 is a cherry, it was really well documented on all services was an original NC car, everything is up to date. At the time I was really looking for a 03-04 termi I test drove a few stockers but the owners where crazy about pricing. funny thing is this car feels the exact same, I can put it in 6th cruise at 35 and moderately get on the throttle and it will feel the same as if I were driving a termi.. just without the sounds, gobs of power in every gear.

That is really clean, i love bimmers.

Black on black was a good color combo for the 540's. Hell for most bmws.
