Winter Wheeling this weekend in CO

This weekend me and a couple buddy's all decided to go camping.. at 8600 ft elevation.

Ended up staying one night as my buddy Will's wife got sick. Little bit of a story, yesterday (saturday) we took off from our campsight at around 9:30, and thought it was going to take all day to get the camper trailer out of the camp spot, as it took us the better part of an hour to get it in there going downhill through 18 inches of snow.

Took us 5 minutes to get it out as me and my other buddy Seth beat the snow down with my truck and his Rubicon to get the trailer out.

So on our way back, we got the idea it was early enough, we had planned to run a trail that we found was closed for the season, and met up with another friend of Will's. Ended up running Slaughterhouse Gulch again.

Pics!
4 trucks tallying from left to right- Josh's Pathfinder, My ranger, Seth's Rubi, Will's Ram 2500.

It's kind of melted off a little bit, not too bad, in the shaded area's it got kinda deep, but for the most part it was pretty easy... lot more ice than powder

It was a pop up... and the generator ran out of gas at around 4am, none of us wanted to go re-fill it... so we froze!

^Lol I'm on an ice fishing trip now. We had a campfire. The fire is 3' below where we were sitting. It has burned down through the snow to the ground. It's neat.

Truck looks good, and great pics. Did you have any problems going through anything with your truck? Or have any damage?

Nah, Slaughterhouse is a mild trail. My only complaint with my truck is I need to do something in the form of getting the truck above the tires a bit. I'm thinking of actually just doing a Body Lift for the time being

Torsen blew up a year ago, so I replaced the 4.10's with Yukon 4.11's

There are all kinds of CO members. Not sure about WY and UT though. I am down for a wheeling trip, but would prefer to do it this summer. Not sure how far everyone is willing to drive though. If the majority of people live here in Colorado, we will have to meet up closer to here.
