not for 'work' as in a job, but for odd jobs to help out family or friends

RANGER99sport 07-15-2009 10:46 AM

Right, I meant for use as a truck, not just hauling 1 spare or nothing

Johnbaum13 07-15-2009 10:59 AM

I hauled 3 rolls of chain link fence for a buddy yesterday, no pics though. I use it as it was meant to be used. And yes, lowered trucks can haul just as much as stock. Just not off pavement.

i had 12 sheets of drywall in mine just the other day. i try to use my truck as a truck every chance i get.

I gotta see if I've got any pics at home... I've had 25 bales of hay in the back. I've done it three times, the third time I lost 23 bales on the road. Now I get them delivered for a buck more per bale. :006:

INT3RC3PTOR 07-15-2009 11:34 AM

I used my Ranger all the time. The bed will show that. I don't have any pictures of it working, though, other then the ones of all my scrap wood:

The Chevy gets worked hard, though. So did the Dodge.

Attachment 146628

That's 8 scaffolding ladders, 8 X bars, 4 planks, 2 sheets of inch and one eight plywood, and 5 sheets of 3/4, plus a **** load of fasteners in the back seat, as well as other crap that was on the job. Had to haul it 20 miles to the next job, lol. The 3/4 ton company truck didn't have anything on the flat bed, everything got thrown on my truck.
