Please read the whole post. Ok im new here, so hi guys! Anyways I need help with my ranger. Its a 2.3l single cab 5speed manual steering amd manual brakes. This is the problem: boggs out on take off, accelerates slow, once it gets up there in rpms it takes off. when I shift It still accelerates slow and it bucks and jumps like its getting more power then less power and again through all gears and when im at freeway speeds ill step on it and it wont speed up, ittl like bogg out and slow down. I have to give it bairly a quarter throttle to go anywhere. It drove fine when I got it for a month then this happened and has been for about two weeks. Things I have done to it: new plugs, rotor and cap, new oil, new fuel filter, temp sensor, air filter, oil filter, sea foam, cheaked the map sensor, idle air control valve, fuel pressure is fine, tps is fine, compresson is fine, timing is fine. I put it on a obd2 converted to obd1 and no codes were thrown, ive cleaned the throttle body and the gaskets are fine. One thing is that it drives fine in reverse. Ive also cheaked the cat and put a new one on and nothing. Im compleatly lost. No plugs are unpluged. I cant find anything at all and im getting horrible power and horrible mpg. I really need help!!

 

is it possible that you filled up with bad gas? im new on here too and have an 87 2.3l with trans trouble but runs good
