2.5L Rebuild; Need some help locating some parts.
Hi! I'm in the process of rebuilding a 1998 2.5L for my 2000. I have the bottom end put back together and surprisingly, all of the clearances are within spec. Some barely so, but within spec!
I'm having trouble locating a couple of parts to finish off the bottom end, however. I need speedy sleeves for the front and rear of the crankshaft - I can find rear sleeves all day but I cant find a sleeve for the front of the crank and it has a fairly nasty groove in it, too. I'm taking my time on this engine to try to make it as tight as possible. It'll be in my daily truck and I'm not letting myself accept leaks such as this.
The second part I need help finding is the oil pickup tube gasket where it mates to the block. It didn't particularly seem like it was a special gasket, but if I could find the correct one it would help me from having to cut my own. I've been using a Generac parts manual to help locate some of the parts and remind me how things go together - the part number in the manual comes out to 0E96180210, however I can't seem to cross reference it to anything.
Here is a link to the Generac manual, the gasket in question is on Page 22 #6626. I can find a Fel-Pro number with 6626a though I can't seem to find it in any parts store, nor Rockauto.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
