98 2.5 to 96 2.3 swap? Will it be plug and play?

So. I spun a bearing in my 1998 2.5L ranger the other day and its our only vehicle at the moment and need to get it fixed asap. There is a 96 2.3L used ranger motor and trans mission for sale a few miles up the road from me. My question is. Can I use it? Would it be plug and play? Or would I have to swap stuff from my 2.5 to the 2.3?

Thanks for any help.

Nik

my 2.3 swap is complet the onlything i have to do is fix the exust and egr tube cuz i broke it and you need the heater core lines from a 2.3 and fuel rail and some vaucum hoses fairly simple
