Spark Plugs Question

I am ordering Autolite APP104 double platinum plugs for my 1994 B2300. They are pre-gapped = 0.05 in. The spec for my truck is 0.044 in.

Does this matter at all I just install them without adjusting the gap (since it is off by that little)? Please advise.

The label from the front of the truck states the gap should be between 0.042 and 0.046 in. The spark plugs came and I measured them, the gap is 0.046 in. I guess I don't need to adjust it.

I have a question for everyone. The new plugs claim it should last 60K miles. For this particular engine, do the plugs for the intake and exhaust sides wear down equally?
