Stock B2500, here are the symptoms. When I accelerate from a stop, if I go out on very low rpms's, she stalls entirely, like if she had almost no power at all. I can floor it at this point, and still practically no movement. I have 2 options at this point, press clutch again and raise rpm's, or wait it out until she decides to spring to life. Another symptom of this stalling is while regular acceleration, for example I could be doing 2,500 rpms in 2nd gear, and rising, and suddenly, engine power dies, and she simply stays at those rpms, or starts dropping very slowly, like if she didn't have the power to keep accelerating, but wasn't actually shutting OFF either.

She has around 85,000 miles. Recently changed the oil. Been doing this for quite a while, slightly more often with time. Thanks in advanced!

 

Check your fuel system?
If your pump is failing maybe its not providing the fuel pressure the engine needs to draw power.
I'm no mechanic but thats where I would start.
