Icon5 Freeze Plug ON Cylinder Head

Is there any tricks to replacing the freeze plug which sits on the back part of the cylinder head. Its impossible to see it and there is less then 5 " between the head and the firewall. Pease tell my that I dont have to remove the engine or cylinder head to complete this job.
