Fuel Filter

I changed my fuel filter on my 95 w/ 2.3

I got the filter installed, and now she wont start.

I ran it out of gas, and the filter started to clog, so i changed it out.

Any ideas why it wont start?

the flow is right, how do i reset that switch?

I checked and im getting pressure at the filter so im pretty sure my pump is good.

But if my fuel cut switch is off that sounds like it might be a cause.

don't gotta pop off any panels. Should bne able to get to it from floor of passenger side up above where thier toes would be near the kick panel will be small button you can press back down (if it popped up). Also, add gas if you didn't already haha. let fuel pump cycle few timew before you give it gas. Willing to bet it's the shutoff switch tho, happen to me once.

sorry to thread jack, but since i have a question about these figured id post here....

every once in a while my truck starts funny. it cranks everytime, usually just fine, trun the key and it starts right up. BUT EVERY ONCE IN A WHILE....maybe every 10 crank, it will start funny. it hesitates like it takes an extra second or two to crank and fire up...you know like when a vehicle wont crank nad just truns over repeatedly. well mine will do that but only for a second and then fires right up...it worries me. my papa thought i may need to replace the fuel filter bc it may have accumilated water...any ideas on this guys....

btw i have 4.0 and an auto

no idea, but the fuel filter is cheap and easy to replace, if you do it, make sure to buy the "Quick disconnect" tool to get one of the fuel lines off the filter.
