I have a 1982(ibelieve) 2.3l turbo engine. I was wondering if any one know what all I have to do to make it run. by this I mean how do I wire it up and where can I get the exhaust tubes? This engine is the two barrel carbed turbo engine where the turbo is right under the intake.

to wire it up is easy if you have the electronic harness and ignition box. simply conect power on and power run ignition wires to the two wire plug on the ignition box. then plug the eng harness into the box. the box will power up the distribiture and the coil. then find the temp and oil sencer wires and hook them up. as for any tubes you need you will have to custom fab most of them from aluminum tubing. you said the turbo is under the intake. i am perplexed as every one i have seen is under the exhaust manifold and has a tube from the top of the turbo to the carb. if this is the case then you may find some tubing in a thunderbird turbo cupe. good luck
