Hey guys,
My tranny has been shifting hard into drive for a while. 4cyc automatic o/d
Today I couldnt get it into reverse or drive without hitting the gas but once I stopped It would shift out of gear again, the o/d light would then blink.

Ive been told it could be the pump, but i am also seeing a leak were the tranny and the axle meet...
How can i tell if its the pump or the tranny? I am not a tranny guy so if you could explain in dummy terms thatd be great!!!!!!!

 

If it's leaking red fluid, you better top off your tranny fluid before any damage occurs. But by the sounds of it, damage has already been done.

You tranny may be toast dude.
