what cleaner to use on IAC valve?

what cleaner to use on IAC valve?
I seem to see conflicting advice on what to use to clean the IAC valve. Is carb cleaner OK, or should I be using something else?

There are no delicate sensors or coatings on the iac valve. Carb cleaner is fine.
