body lift, spindle lift, coil lift with new UCAs, or you can do them all and get about 9" of lift plus tires

Your buddy doesn't know what he's talking about. Spindle lifts are the main suspension lift for newer 2wd Rangers. You'll be fine as long as you don't go out and jump our truck all over the place.

well each the of the lifts equate to approximately 3" each and can easily run 31s with any of them. body lift is cheapest...

first, again your friend does not know what he is talking about. second, see if they will sell you just the spindles and then get some AALs from summitracing.com. I bought some spindles from that seller through their store site for 300 a few years back.

Any idea on who makes the best body lift kit for the 08 rangers? I have heard of fabtech and skyjacker but i have looked and it doesnt appear that they do and i would hate to use wood blocks like i have seen people do.

Why cant you jump your truck with the new spindles??? I mean, obviously they could break, but I have gotten over 5 feet of air in my 05 edge (Very hard packed dirt road with small "jumps") and landed it with no problems (other than a bounce or two) and that was on the stock spindles. The Fabtech ones appear to be a lot beefier.

Its never good to jump a truck but with bigger tires it creates more stress. A couple of guys have bent spindles jumping, I was just warning him.
