1988 Ford Ranger Lift Questions

Hi, im new to the forum and have a few qusetions about lifting a ranger. Ive got an old beat up wood/yard truck that isnt in use anymore and was going to be scraped, but id like to use it as strictly a wheeling truck. I want to lift it 2-3'' just to clear the bottom a little more but im going to make the lift as im a machinist. I just wanted to know what typically is included in a 2 or 3" lift that i would need to make for my ranger. I know coil spacers and rear blocks but anything else? like swaybar brackets or something? Ive never owned a ford so any help is greatly apprieciated, thanks.
