not to sound dumb but towing + drop doesn't sound like a good idea.

Yeha once mark98xlt finds this post he will put up some good info.

Summit is a decent place to start looking also try JEG's they may be cheaper over there.... or go buy the latest issue of Mini Truckin and look in the ad's in there....

why wouldnt you be able to tow with a lowered vehicle? it still maintains the same amount of towing ability as a stock vehicle you just gotta be careful that your not really loaded down

what you can do for under $200 hell under that is get some 2" lowering coils for the front install those.. then Flip the rear hangers have to drill out the rivits then install with grade 8 bolts and nuts cost under $150...

that will be a 2/2 drop

I don't know much of anything about lowering the Gen II's.... but that sounds about right....shackles and coils... then later upgrade to the beams...

This is what I have planned for a 2/3 drop...2" drop coils in the front and an axle flip kit with Belltech 6700 1" drop shackles to put it up 1" in the rear after the 4" drop from the axle flip.
