2/3 drop on 01 ranger

i am about to order a drop for my ranger, but i am new to the lowring thing. I have 18 inch wheels with stock height tires and i like that look of a beefy tire, so i know i cant go with any lower of a kit. But i just want to make sure i get a kit that has everything i will need in it. The truck is my daily driver and this will have to be done over a weekend. so i can have the truck done on a monday to get it aligned. I just need help making sure i get all the parts i need to finish. shocks? alignment extras? i have no clue about lowering trucks.

so thats what that looks like, if you still want a 2/3...heres the kit..
http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku

it comes with shocks, front springs, and rear flip kit...and if you find a lower price, summit will match it...if you have air tools, im sure it can be done in a weekend

Thanks, will the Cobra rims fit the Ranger without any mods such as spacers or adapters? Thanks for the help.

see i thought a 2/3 drop was supposed to make the truck sit level. urs looks pretty level with a 2/5 i want it to be level not sitting up in the back. A flip kit in the 4 wheel drive world will usally get you about 5 inches of lift. i realize this is the oposite flip, but does the kit come with lift shackles or something?

stock there's about a 2" rake.....no......it doesn't come with shackles....It's just a rear flip kit, and drop coils.

mine is not level, mine is at least 1" and half higher in the front...a flip kit mounts your leaf springs under the axle, instead of on top...

MY cobras fit w/o problems, no adapters needed whatsoever, sometimes spacers are needed however

for levelness-clarification...hope this gives you a better view

Oh we know your not lying and never said you did were just surprised it sits that low for a 2/3 but it helps that its an ext cab also prob a v6 to.

Also air shocks will help in the back.

i know u didnt haha...and no its a 2.5l xlt

i bought the truck dec of 99, the only v6 they had were reg cabs, my dad talked me into the ext cab for more room but again less power(if i had the v6 it would be supercharged now haha), he explained the gearing to me that even though its a 4banger it will still get up and go do to the gears, so i was like ok whatever but now im glad i bought it because i loved the extra space it has
