mine go under the spring, and they are ok on the ball joints.
but i have a 97 TIB.

It'd be just as bad as cranking my t-bars. It all depends on the angle that it puts your suspension at. Some of the spacers (anything 3 or more inches) would probably screw over a suspension good. With that set-up, it looks like the spindles are 3" and the spacers are 2" which is fine. You'd just have to keep an eye out for tie-rod ends. Tons of members on here have their t-bars cranked to the max (~2.5") and nothing is wrong with anything.

That 5/4 lift will work. Having 35's with just that might be a little sketchy but 33's would fit no doubt. If you got the BL too then you could fit 35's with no problem. All in all, that will get you what you want (8/7 lift with 35's). If you plan on getting 35's don't settle for any smaller, you'll hate yourself for it.

the spacers that go inside the springs are for those people that are too cheap to replace their horribly sagging coils. those are just designed as a "band-aid" to keep your fenders from dropping down on your tires because the coils sag so much. they basically change the spring rate and are not exactly safe for extended use.

other spacers designed for lift (whether mounted above or below the coil) are perfectly safe and a great way to get just a little more lift, while keeping your stock spring rate and keeping costs down.

soo this is what I'm lookin at now....I'm thinkin I'm just gonna get the 5/4 lift annnnd maybe down the road i'll look at gettin some 35's but for right now i know i'll be happy with the lift, some nice mickey thompsons, and some beefy 33's that i saw the other day.... i'm puttin money on my card for the lift this week...whenever it's on there i'll go ahead and buy the lift...then i'll work on gettin the MT's....then hopefully b4 the end of june i'm shootin on havin the tires...i appreciate every1's input...if anyone has anything else to say about the coil spacers i'd love to hear about it
