2011 IFS steering knuckle

Does any of you know if I can get longer (taller) steering knuckles for my 2011 FX4 without buying the whole superlift kit?

Nope. No lift spindles for the 4x4's.

If I remember correctly you can purchase just the knuckles from Summit. But it won't do you any good if you don't have the drop brackets too.

I have cranked torsion bars, therfore downward wheel travel is limited due to the angle of the upper control arm. So im thinking if I put a longer 2'' knuckle in there, the upper control arm will rise back to stock position, therefore leaving me those extrinches of wheel travel.

Why I'm going this route, I dont think I need the superlift 4in

I'd suggest some btf uniball upper control arms . That will fix most of your problem

You will lose 4x4 if you do just the knuckles. CV angles won't work at all.

No, he won't gain any dow travel. Only changing an upper control arm doesn't magically give you more travel.

OP, why are you concerned with down travel anyways.

I know it won't but the arm is designed differently. It will provide less stress on the ball joint because it has been dropped down. It's purpose built to be stronger and there is a little extra length in the btf control arms.

Ok.... But there's nothing wrong with running stock ball joints with cranked keys.... Unless you max them out, in which case ball joints will be the least of your worries.

Honestly, unless you do the coilovers conversion as well, its a waste of money. Better off with a body lift.
