33's w/ 3".. or 35's with 7"
Alright well, as of right now, I have a 3" BL, and a 4" SL sitting at the shop waiting to go into the truck. I also have 35" BFG MT's. Well, here is my delema. Everyone I have talked to that has lifted a truck this high has had more problems than anything. My question is this.. Should I use one of the lifts instead of both, and trade in the 35's for 33's? Or stay with what i got.? And if I should use only one lift, which one? The 4" SL (which cost over 1200 bucks) or the 3" BL (which cost less than 300)?
If i keep what i got, I have to spend almost 700 bucks on gears + install...
If i do only one lift, i could use the money i get back on other things for the truck...

Yeah.. My biggest thing is i just want to be able to get into and out of anything i get myself into(within reason of course).. without any help. I am pretty new to all of this, so i dont know what i would be better off with. I just want a well-rounded Ranger that I can go mudding in, or off-roading period in. and still be able to use it as my dd

Now, My question is this. Why is the one lift a better set up than both? (im asking this because i have no idea.. Im Learning sooo much from all of you! lol. I feel like im in school.. except i am actually interested in this class:) lol.)

I wont be doing alot of hard driving all the time.. but, i will take her out to play everyonce and a while...The 33's will be the same width as the 35's, just 2' smaller in the diameter of the tire.

Alright, If I were to keep what ive got, How capable of a rig is it going to be? And what else do i need to do? And how much (money_)
I think i am going to keep the 31's on till i get the money for the gears.. May look funny, but its better than Tearin up the tranny.

The Superlift kit can be installed in a day if you work hard at it. Min took me 10hrs with air tools and 2 buddys helping. Took PLENTY of breaks and had to run to the hardware store a few times. A 4x4 shop told me that they would install in for $850,thats the reason i did it myself.

You said yours is double lifted. Its not going to feel top-heavy with both lifts and the 35X12.5R15's will it? I know that i can fit the 35s with just the SL..But im not thinkin i will be able to flex much...What do you think?
i say if you got the money to turn your truck into a wheeling MACHINE then put on the 7" with the 35's. you will have to do some other things to make it right but atleast you will be able to wheel the hell out of your truck. how wide are the 35's? if its going to have a big lift you should get some 35 by 15's or something extra wide.
If you want offroad performance I say trade the 35s for 33s and sell the body lift. If you think about it this way with the BL you won't gain any ground clearance except the little bit from the tires. I think if you invest in a good locker that will do you a lot more offroad than that 1" of ground clearance. But double lifted with 35s would look sweet tho. It's just whatever you'll use more.

You are lifting the truck thus you will have a higher center of gravity. Risk of rolling the truck will be higher but like I said in a previous post as long as you don't take corners like a rally car you will be fine. In other words...know you truck corner speed limit, don't drive like an idiot.
Opinions...
I say do the SL, drive it a while and see. YOur gonna lose mpg, have to drive differently, but will gain tons of off-road prowess simply with the SL. I don't think the BL is gonna do much in the way of capability except allow bigger tires. Then there's regearing, recalibrating..... but it's yours, have fun
